At least eight Haitian migrants found in Portland

At least eight Haitian nationals were found in Hector's River, Portland on Monday morning.
 
Radio Jamaica News understands that the group was among several others who arrived in Jamaica Sunday on a small sail boat.
 
It's reported that residents found the Haitian nationals who were scattered across various sections of the community.
 
The police were alerted following the discovery.
 
The total head count is unknown at this time, but the group of eight was taken to the Port Antonio Hospital to receive medical care.
