The JSE's Main Index surged today by 4,262 points to close at 385,643.79 points on a volume of 12.9 million units valued at $139.9 million.
The Junior Market Index inced up by 12 points.
A total of 59 stocks traded, 28 advanced, 18 declined and 13 traded firm.
TransJamaican Highway Limited was the volume leader with 7.1 million units or 55%, followed by Sagicor Select Funds Limited with 1.8 million units or 14% and Carreras with 892,034 units or 7%.
