'Bloodstain' slapped with murder, gun and ammunition charges

The St. Andrew South Police have charged Courtney Ashley, who was listed as the country's most wanted fugitive, with murder following his arrest on Monday.
 
The 43-year-old Ashley, otherwise called 'Bloodstain', has also been charged with illegal possession of a firearm and illegal possession of ammunition.
 
The charges relate to an incident that occurred on November 6, 2017, about 7:55 p.m., along Fenbrook Avenue, Kingston 20 in which two men were shot, one fatally.
 
Ashley was apprehended without incident at his residence in Phoenix Park Village Phase 2, Portmore, and the warrant was subsequently executed. 
 
The police say investigations and file preparations relating to other matters involving Ashley are ongoing.
 
He has been linked to multiple murders, robberies and shootings in the Corporate Area.
