Delano Seiveright
The Jamaica Labour Party's St. Andrew North Central constituency has ushered in new leadership, with Delano Seiveright, currently a senior strategist in the Ministry of Tourism, elected Vice Chairman before a packed meeting of JLP constituency delegates.
The meeting was chaired by long-serving MP and constituency chairman, Karl Samuda.
Mr. Samuda, who has served as MP for 44 years, presided over the meeting and endorsed Mr Seiveright's selection.
Alongside Mike Henry, Mr Samuda is among the longest-serving Members of Parliament in Jamaica's history.
