Discussions are underway to bring the University of the West Indies School of Medicine to Guyana.
Guyana President Irfaan Ali says that in the discussions with the School of Medicine, they are working to ensure that the rates are the same as for local students in Trinidad and Tobago.
No timeline was given for the opening of the school in Guyana.
