Kemon White's report on reactions to Don Wehby's passing
Former Chief Executive Officer of GraceKennedy Group, Don Wehby, has died.
Radio Jamaica News understands that Mr Wehby, who had been ailing for some time, passed away on Saturday evening. He was 62 years old.
Mr Wehby was also a Senator and served in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Bruce Golding for two years - 2007-2009 - as Minister without Portfolio in the Ministry of Finance.
He initially took leave of absence from his position at GraceKennedy in late 2024, then later resigned.
He also resigned from the Senate in November last year.
Born in 1963, he got his high school education at St. George’s College in Kingston and later attended the University of the West Indies and Stanford University.
