Members of the public will have roughly six weeks to have their say in the development of Jamaica's National Anti-Corruption Strategy (NAS).
This, as the Integrity Commission invites the public to contribute to the development of the NAS, which is expected to strengthen the prevention, detection of, and response to, corruption.
The consultation period runs from October 1 to November 16.
The NAS is intended to bring together the work of key national stakeholders and establish a framework for coordinated action to address the causes and manifestations of corruption, while strengthening prevention, accountability and transparency.
The Commission says the process began with the engagement of stakeholders across the public sector, private sector and civil society, with the first meeting of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy Steering Committee held on September 3, 2026.
The Steering Committee is expected to provide strategic guidance to the NAS development process and support collaboration.
The Commission is encouraging participation from all sectors and communities, including students, professionals, business owners, members of civil society, community organisations, public-sector employees, private-sector representatives, academia and members of the wider public.
The public can submit feedback and recommendations to the Integrity Commission via NAS@integrity.gov.jm or by telephone at (876) 968-6227.
