Investigators continue search for missing UTech student

Investigators have been combing sections of the Corporate Area and St. Catherine for University of Technology (UTech) student Anisa Dilworth, who has been missing since last week Tuesday.

An inDrive driver has been captured in connection with the disappearance of the student. He was arrested on Saturday.

A second suspect is being sought in the case.

A senior investigator told Radio Jamaica News that the police have been making significant progress in their investigation of the matter. He said the search continues for Anisa.

Superintendent Mark Harris, head of the St. Andrew Central Police division, said the police seized a motor car they believe was used in the crime.

He added that the police are using appropriate technology to assist in the investigation.

Anisa, who is from Montego Bay, St. James, had just completed her first year studying pharmaceutical technology at the Papine, St. Andrew-based university and would frequently use ride-share services to get around the Corporate Area.
