Thirty-two
year old Kevin Christopher Brown, the Jamaican held in Orlando, Florida
on Tuesday with bomb making materials, is scheduled to make another appearance in
court Thursday.
He appeared in a Florida court Wednesday but his case was put off after Federal prosecutors said they were awaiting a psychological evaluation.
According to US media reports Mr. Brown did not speak during the brief court hearing where he was ordered held without bail.
His court-appointed public defender, Clarence Counts, has declined to comment ahead of a formal bond hearing Thursday.
US officials have been in constant contact with Jamaican authorities as well as relatives and family friends, all seeking information on Mr. Brown.
Local police have also been questioning family members.
It is understood that information on Mr. Brown's luggage led investigators to a cousin in western Jamaica.
According to an FBI affidavit obtained by RJR News, Mr. Brown willingly confessed to having items in his possession which could be used to make a bomb.
