Police attached to the Firearms and Narcotics Investigation Division (FNID) seized and destroyed more than 1,500 pounds of ganja during an operation Thursday in Northampton district, St. Elizabeth.
The operation was carried out from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The police say the ganja was found cut and placed in a field to dry.
No arrest was made in relation to the seizure.
