The St. Andrew South Police took a man into custody on Wednesday in connection with the seizure of two illegal firearms and 20 rounds of ammunition at Kidd Lane.
The St. Andrew South Zone 1 Operational Support Team carried out a snap raid at 24 Kidd Lane about 10 p.m.
During a search, the police found a Browning 9 millimetre pistol with one magazine containing fifteen cartridges and a Taurus 9 millimetre Pistol with five cartridges.
A 33-year-old factory worker of the same address was arrested.
