The Electoral Office of Jamaica has confirmed that the deadline for eligible people to register for the next publication of the national voters' list is Monday, March 31.
The next list will be published on May 31.
The EOJ says voter registration is important as it enables individuals to exercise their right to vote in upcoming and future elections.
Only registered voters will be able to cast their vote on Election Day.
Persons aged 18 years and older who are Jamaican citizens, or Commonwealth citizens residing in Jamaica for at least 12 consecutive months, are therefore being urged to apply by the deadline.
Those already on the Voters' List are reminded not to re-apply, but to request a renewal if their voter ID card has expired.
Additionally, voter ID cards for some categories of electors were automatically renewed and are awaiting collection at their EOJ constituency office.
The voters' list is published twice per year, on May 31 and November 30.
Voter identification cards for those added to the May 2025 list will be distributed in June.
