Teams from the Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) are involved in a series of simultaneous targeted operations at five locations across Kingston and Clarendon.
Director of Communications at MOCA, Major Basil Jarrett, says the agency's teams, with operational support from the Jamaica Constabulary Force, are at locations in Whitehall Terrace, Kingston Gardens, Seaview Gardens, and Tavern in Kingston, as well as Longville Park in Clarendon.
The operations are targeting persons suspected to be involved in a major investigation at MOCA.
Major Jarrett says arrests are expected.
