Prime Minister Andrew Holness says over 300 units will be built under the New Social Housing Programme by the end of the year.
Prime Minister Holness says 53 units are in varied stages of completion.
He was speaking at the handing over of the 248th unit in Northern Clarendon where three units were handed over last week.
To date, more than 860 people, across 57 of the 63 constituencies, have received units under the NSHP.
Additionally, work is expected to be completed on a total of 75 projects, or 242 units comprising 419 rooms, between now and the 2025/26 Financial Year.
