A motorcyclist who crashed into a bus on Main Street, Santa Cruz, St. Elizabeth on Wednesday, died of his injuries on Thursday in hospital.
He is Itola Edwards, otherwise called 'Sanchez', of Friendship Street and Kingston addresses.
It's reported that about 4 p.m. a Toyota Hiace bus travelling towards Santa Cruz was making a right turn when Mr. Edwards, who was overtaking, crashed into the side of the bus.
Mr. Edwards was flung from the motorcycle and received head injuries.
He was taken to a hospital in St. Elizabeth and later transferred to the Kingston Public Hospital where he died a day later.
This is the third fatal crash involving motorcyclists in St. Elizabeth this week.
