The common law wife of Othneil Lobban, also known as 'Thickman', who was killed in St. Andrew Wednesday night, is accusing some members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force of removing valuable items from the house where Mr. Lobban resided.
Mr. Lobban, who the police say was the leader of the One Order Gang, lived in Ellerslie Gardens in Spanish Town, St. Catherine.
His common law wife says several items, including appliances and jewellery, were removed from the house after Mr. Lobban's killing.
"They went to di house this morning, forced entry to go into the house because the house was locked up. After making forced entry, them a thief stuff from outta di house again, a come out wid into a pillow case. Somebody alarm mi and mi went and mi seh officer what's the problem? Mi go inna di house and mi look what missing, and mi seh why unuh keep on a come a house every minute come steal the stuff?"
She said she was asked who she was, after which she identified herself as Mr. Lobban's girlfriend and insisted she had receipts for the items that were being taken.
The woman said the police warned that she had better have the receipts "or mi nah get back nutt'n 'cause memba di man done dead and gone already".
She claimed this is not the first time that police have visited the house and removed items including controls for a Play Station 5, jewellery, perfume, cut the connection to a water pump and a WiFi box, and have taken one foot of at least 21 pairs of shoes.
She said jewellery that was being worn by Mr. Lobban at the time of his death was also removed from his body.
The woman said a report was made to the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM).
