PM again warns extortionists targeting construction sites

 

Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness is warning criminals that the government will not tolerate any extortion or disruption of construction at the $3.8 billion  Raintree Commercial Complex in Ferry, St. Catherine. 

 

The Prime Minister was speaking on Wednesday at the ground breaking ceremony for the complex.

 

He says considerable investment has gone into equipping members of the security forces to address criminality, and therefore they are now much more likely to catch the criminals than they were up to a decade ago, "and it is important that I warn them, because when they get what it coming to them... the society will know that I went to great lengths, publicly, to warn them..."
