The Manchester Police have made a major breakthrough in the murder of Ceejay Cunningham, the 2022 recipient of the Prime Minister's National Youth Award for Excellence in Agriculture.

The police say Andre Knight, who was fatally shot during a confrontation with police in Davyton last month, has been positively identified as the man who killed Mr. Cunningham on April 26 in the same community.

Deputy Superintendent Carey Duncan, head of the Manchester Police Division, provided an update on the case at Thursday's monthly meeting of the municipal corporation.

DSP Duncan did not disclose the motive for the murder of Mr. Cunningham.
