Residents of the Longville Park Housing Scheme in Clarendon on Saturday staged a protest following a series of break-ins and assaults in the community.
The residents, who gathered at the roundabout to the entrance of Phase Three of the housing scheme, said there were several incidents on Friday, including an attack on a woman.
According to the police, there has been an upsurge in crime since the opening of Phase Three of the Longville Park Housing Scheme.
The incidents occur mainly in the day.
Residents believe robbers are travelling from neighbouring communities and entering the housing scheme through areas that are heavily wooded.
