Another group of Haitian nationals was picked up on Wednesday morning in Anchovy Gardens, Portland.
The sixteen individuals and the driver of the car in which they were travelling, were taken to Port Antonio Police Station.
It's reported that the Haitians were being transported to Montego Bay, St. James, but the vehicle developed mechanical problems.
Residents of the area tried to assist, but got suspicious after the driver refused to unload his passengers from the vehicle.
Another motorist that was piloting them is on the run.
On Monday, eight Haitians were found in Hector's River in the parish.
It's believed that a large group of the migrants arrived in the island Sunday on a small sail boat.
