St. Elizabeth man charged for sexual assault of 6-year-old girl

 
The St. Elizabeth police have charged a man who was mobbed by residents of Leeds on the weekend, on allegations that he sexually assaulted a six-year-old girl. 
 
The 59-year-old farmer, of a Leeds address, was charged on Wednesday with two counts of grievous sexual assault following an identification parade.
 
It is alleged that he molested the child on two occasions in the community on Saturday. 
 
The child informed an adult who raised an alarm.
 
The accused was set upon and beaten by residents. 
 
He was rescued by the police and taken to the Black River Hospital for treatment.
