St. Elizabeth teacher charged with malicious destruction of property

The St. Elizabeth police have charged a female teacher with malicious destruction of property.

 

She has been identified as 30-year-old Felika Hunter, of Luana district.

 

Superintendent Coleridge Minto, head of the St. Elizabeth Police, says Ms. Hunter will appear in court Friday.

 

"The report is that on the 19th of May, Ms. Hunter was involved in an argument with her child's father at her home. During the dispute, she used an object to smash the rear windshield of a Toyota Isis motor car. The result, a report was made. The accused was taken into custody where she was arrested and charged," he recounted. 

 

Ms. Hunter featured in a viral video recently, in which she was seen beheading a chicken on the compound of Sydney Pagon STEM Academy.

 

Her actions resulted in the suspension of classes and the intervention of the Ministry of Education to provide counselling to her and those affected at the institution.

 

She is currently on medical leave from the school.
