The Narcotics police have laid charges against a St. Mary woman accused of selling crack cocaine.
Sophia Ricketts, a 52-year-old resident of Annotto Bay, was arrested on Monday during a raid on her home by narcotics detectives.
The cops say they seized 12.5 grams of crack cocaine in the operation.
The narcotics police reported that they raided the home at Dumpland, Annotto Bay, and seized 146 pieces of crack cocaine inside her bedroom.
The estimated street value of the cocaine is J$36,000.
Ms. Ricketts, who has been charged with possession of cocaine and dealing in cocaine, was released on station bail to appear in the St. Mary Parish Court on Tuesday, May 21.
