A man who was being sought for multiple murders in Linstead, St. Catherine was captured Wednesday on the Edward Seaga Highway during an intelligence-led operation.
The police say a vehicle with Glendon Amos, otherwise called 'Bull', was intercepted on the toll road heading towards Moneague, St. Ann.
Mr. Amos is the main suspect in the murder of Marian Phillips in Commodore on September 13 last year.
A six-year-old boy was wounded in the brazen daylight attack.
Ms. Phillips was the mother of a member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
