The St Catherine North Police are investigating the murder of a taxi operator and the wounding of a passenger after his vehicle came under fire from a gunman along the Old Harbour main road yesterday afternoon.
The slain transport operator remains unidentified.
The passenger is in serious condition in hospital.
Commanding Officer for the St Catherine North Police Division, Deputy Superintendent Camendo Thoms said a man on a motorcycle drove up to the grey Toyota Probox taxi, in the vicinity of Courts of Praise Apostolic Church, and shot the driver and passenger.
