The third person allegedly involved in the abduction of a 33-year-old teacher from Westmoreland last week was fatally shot on Wednesday during a police operation in Pell River, Hanover.
He is 39-year-old Omar Johnson.
The police had 9mm pistol and ammunition were recovered from Mr. Johnson following the shooting which occurred shortly before 10 p.m.
Two other men were fatally shot by the police during the successful rescue of the educator on May 8.
Two firearms were also allegedly seized.
