The Kingston Western police say court dates are being finalised for two men who are facing murder charges.
The men have been identified as 20-year-old Steven Williams, of Nelson Street and 28-year-old Frederick Mattis, of Victoria Street, both in Denham Town, Kingston 12.
Williams - otherwise called 'African' - was charged with the murder of 50-year-old businessman Glen Simpson, of Market Street in Kingston 14, who was shot and killed at his business place on Friday January 26.
Williams was captured by the police within the Denham Town area and was charged after he gave a statement admitting his involvement, and after being questioned in the presence of his attorney.
He was charged with murder, possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorised possession of ammunition.
Mattis has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Kirk Facey, who was shot dead at his cook shop along Market Street, Denham Town, in February last year.
Mattis was charged with murder, possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorised possession of ammunition.
