The police are processing a scene along Slipe Road in St. Andrew where the bullet riddled bodies of two men were found in a gully.
Radio Jamaica News was informed that explosions were heard in the area about 6 p.m. Sunday.
A passerby alerted the police to the bodies about 7 o'clock Monday morning.
About 30 spent shells were found at the scene.
Both men were wearing masks.
