Dr. Claudette Clarke, the widow of accountant Keith Clarke, on Monday said she had no knowledge that soldiers were shot and wounded on the night her husband was killed.
She was continuing her testimony at the trial of the three soldiers accused of killing her husband.
Lance Corporals Greg Tingling, Odel Buckley, and Private Arnold Henry are on trial for the 2010 murder.
Mr. Clarke was killed at at his Kirkland Heights home during a police/military operation to apprehend drug lord Christopher 'Dudus' Coke.
During cross examination, Mr. Tingling's attorney King's Counsel Valerie Neita Roberston asked the widow, "Are you aware that a bullet from your husband's licensed firearm was removed from the leg of one of the soldiers on trial?"
Dr. Claudette Clarke said she was not aware.
Pressing further, the attorney asked, "Were you aware that shots were fired from the ground towards the helicopter?"
Dr. Clarke replied: "No, Madam. I was not aware."
Mrs. Neita Robertson also asked the educator if she was aware that the helicopter that was above her house was shot at by men in her yard on the night in question.
Prior to wrapping up her cross-examination, the attorney asked the widow if she was aware that soldiers were outside her house.
Dr. Clarke said she became aware when her neighbour, whom she had called, told her that it seems soldiers and police were outside.
But during cross-examination by attorney King's Counsel Peter Champagnie, Dr. Clarke agreed that there is a possibility that the security forces were trying to communicate with her but she did not hear.
In the meantime, Dr. Clarke rejected Mrs. Neita Robertson's suggestion that she and her husband had been harbouring Christopher 'Dudus' Coke and seven other men at their house.
An emotional Dr. Clarke explained that she did not know him, had never met him and that he was never at their house.
But Mrs. Neita Robertson said intelligence had suggested that he was there.
