The Government of Grenada says it has taken note of the recent announcement by the United States Department of State imposing visa restrictions on Grenadian officials in connection with the Cuban medical programme.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it is actively engaging with U.S. authorities through established diplomatic channels to address the matter.
The Government is seeking to assure Grenadians that the situation is being handled with "the utmost responsibility" and in the best interest of the nation.
The Ministry is also urging the public to rely on official information from its offices for accurate updates as the situation develops.
