More blackouts in Cuba

Cuba had a second blackout on Saturday, hours after officials said power was being slowly restored.

The Electrical Union's official Telegram channel said the second outage occurred at 6:15 a.m..

Previously, Cuban officials had said small pockets of power had been restored although there were no immediate numbers provided of how many customer had had their service reconnected.

Some Cubans complained on social media that their power briefly returned before flickering out.

On Friday, one of country's major power plants failed.

Millions of people have been left without power over the last several days as the aging Cuban electrical grid repeatedly collapsed.
