Coach Miguel Coley moves from Iran to the UAE

Former national assistant coach Miguel Coley is once again on the move after taking the assistant role with United Arab Emirates (UAE) Pro League side Baniyas. Coley has left Iranian club Esteglal along with former Reggae Boyz coach Winfried Schaefer.

The two helped Esteglal to the quarter-finals of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League last season. The former Jamaica College coach and Schaefer have joined up with the club in their pre-season in Spain as they get set for the 2019-20 UAE Pro League season in August.

Baniyas ended sixth in the league last season and are aiming a top two finish to qualify for the Asian Champions League next season.
