World 200m champion Shericka Jackson is among 6 nominees for the prestigeous Laureus World Sportswoman of the Year.
Jackson lowered her personal best last year in the 200m to 21.41 seconds at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary claiming her second world title in the event along with a silver in the 100 and 4x100m.
She also dominated the 2023 Diamond League circuit, claiming titles in both the 100m and 200m events.
The other nominees include world 100m champion Sha'Carri Richardson, Balon d'Or winner Aita Bonmati from Spain, world record holder for the 1500m and 1 mile distance Faith Kipyegon from Kenya, Polish tennis player Iga Swiatek and USA alpine skier Mikaela Shiffrin.
