The Jamaica Amateur Body Building and Fitness Association (JABBFA) is facing criticism from its athletes and members after failing to send a national team to the Central American and Caribbean Championships for the second year in a row.
The local governing body is being accused of incompetency. The regional championships was held in Aruba from September 21-25.
This comes after a national trials was also held in September for the event and the passports of selected athletes were sent to the Dutch Embassy to secure visas.
Duvaughn Dick who had placed 4th at the national championships, was the only Jamaican representative at the regional championships after paying his way to the event. He had a second place finish in the heavyweight category.
