Jamaica's athletes preparing to hit the ice at Winter Olympics

The 2026 Winter Olympics is now underway with snowboarding and ice hockey already in progress at the 100th Games which will have its opening ceremony on Friday. 92 countries including Jamaica, are taking part at the Games in Milano Cortina in Italy.

Six athletes from Jamaica will be looking to bring glory to the country on ice. The team is made up of four males, Shane Pitter, Joel Fearon, Junior Harris and Tyquendo Tracey who will be competing in the four and two man bobsleigh events.

Jamaica will also have representation through Mica Moore in the monobob and skier Henri Rivers 1V. Competition for the Jamaicans will run from February 12-22.
