Jamaican international Donovan Ricketts is back on top as the best goalkeeper in Major League Soccer.
Two years after he was sent packing by the La Galaxy, the 36-year-old Portland Timbers star was named the all-state MLS Goalkeeper of the year on Wednesday for the second time in his career.
The award was voted on by media, MLS players and MLS club management based on regular-season performance.
Ricketts – who topped four-time nominee Nick Rimando of Real Salt Lake also won the award in 2010.
Ricketts, who finished with a career high 14 shutouts and 92 saves, became the fourth player in league history to win the award multiple times.
The Jamaican was also named to the 2013 best Eleven for the L, his second such honour.
