RJRGLEANER Sports Foundation mourns passing of producer Alvin Campbell

The board of directors and members of the secretariat of the RJRGLEANER Sports Foundation are saddened by the death on Friday night of Alvin Campbell, the event producer, script writer and sports world magazine writer for the annual National Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year event. 

Campbell has been producing the event for more than a decade and has always been respected, admired and appreciated by the foundation for his professionalism and his even temperament.

A press release from the RJRGLEANER Sports Foundation said Campbell will be missed tremendously by the entire team that plans and executes the sports awards gala each year, but says his contribution and the way he contributed will never be forgotten.
