With the rise of Olympic discus thrower Chad Wright in the sport of weightlifting, the local governing body is hoping to attract more elite athletes.
Wright is now aiming to qualify for both weightlifting as well as the discus throw at this year's Commonwealth Games to be held from July 23 to August 2 in Glasgow, Scotland.
