In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Rogers and Hammerstein's beloved fairytale musical Cinderella, television network ABC will broadcast the original film for the first time in two decades.
The movie will be preceded by Cinderella: The Reunion, during a Special Edition of 20/20.
Original cast members including R&B singer Brandy and EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony) winner Whoopi Goldberg will take part in the milestone celebration.
The 1997 Disney movie was groundbreaking, as it featured Brandy and Whitney Houston as the first black Cinderella and Fairy Godmother.
The 20/20 special will include behind-the-scenes footage, interviews and an exploration of how the musical revolutionised television.
It will explore the film's positive impact on diversity in Hollywood.
Cinderella: The Reunion Special and movie will air on August 23.
