Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Buckingham Palace has issued a statement congratulating Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on the birth of their daughter over the weekend.
Members of the royal family, including Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles, are said to be delighted with the news and have sent their well wishes.
Baby Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, who was born in Santa Barbara California, is the Queen's 11th great-grandchild and is eighth in line to the throne.
The name is in honour of the Queen Elizabeth as Lilibet was her childhood nickname. Baby Lili's middle name, Diana, was chosen to honour her grandmother, the late Princess of Wales.
