Eight black women feature on covers of September issue magazines

Black women are dominating magazine covers for their September issue.
 
This week, it was announced that eight black women would appear on the covers of several prestigious magazines - the first time that this many black women have received the honour in the same year. 
 
Beyoncé is the cover of the American  Vogue that dropped Monday. Singer and actress Rihanna is on the cover of British Vogue, and Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o is on the cover of Porter magazine.
 
"Blackish" star Tracee Ellis Ross is on the September cover of Elle Canada, actress Zendaya is on Marie Claire and Tiffany Haddish on Glamour. Ahead of Insecure's season three premiere on August 12, Issa Rae appears on the cover of Ebony magazine.
 
The U.K. edition of Elle featured a currently pregnant model, Slick Woods, to discuss her success as a Fenty Beauty model.
