Family of Bob Saget asks judge to prohibit release of details related to his death

The family of US comedian Bob Saget has asked a Florida judge to prohibit the release of any photos, videos or other records related to the investigation into his death.

Saget's wife, Kelly Rizzo, and his three daughters say releasing details would cause them irreparable pain.

The family filed a lawsuit in Orlando on Tuesday, asking a state judge for a ruling that would prohibit the release of any records from the local medical examiner's office and the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

The 65-year-old former Full House star was found dead on January 9 in a room at the Ritz Carlton after performing in the area the night before.

The medical examiner revealed that Saget died from an accidental blow to the head, likely from a fall.

A toxicology analysis did not show any illicit drugs or toxins in his body.
