Shantol Jackson
Jamaican actress Shantol Jackson has been cast in the hit BBC One show Death In Paradise for the upcoming 11th season.
Filming for the series has already started in Guadeloupe.
Jackson joins the cast playing the role of Sergeant Naomi Thomas, a young detective who has transferred over from a neighbouring island.
She previously starred in the Idris Elba-directed 2018 crime drama Yardie, as well as Sprinter by director Storm Saulter.
Jackson is also known for work in local productions, the most recent being Dahlia Harris's Love and Dancehall.
