Toy manufacturer Mattel has asked a Los Angeles federal court to dismiss a lawsuit against hip-hop-inspired snack maker Rap Snacks Inc.
Mattel sued the company over Nicki Minaj's "Barbie-Que Honey Truffle" potato chips, which Mattel claimed infringed on its "Barbie" trademark rights.
The case was dismissed with prejudice, which means it cannot be re-filed.
The terms of any settlement have not been disclosed.
Rap Snacks revealed that it no longer offers chips in its online store.
Nicki Minaj is known for using the "Barbie" moniker as part of her personality, and in 2011 she collaborated with Mattel on a doll for charity.
