African Import and Export Bank president optimistic that CARICOM countries will sign trade agreement with bank

President of the African Import and Export Bank, Professor Benedict Oramah, is optimistic that all countries within CARICOM will sign the trade agreement with the bank, which will see a doubling of the already assigned US$1.5 billion.
 
Mr Oramah singled out Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago for further engagements.
 
He says the two countries understand the benefits of joining the Afreximbank.
 
Mr Oramah says he intends to visit Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago in the coming months.
 
He expressed confidence that before the end of the year, all CARICOM countries would sign the trade agreement.
