A St. Ann resident died Monday morning in what the police have described as a freak accident along the AGR Byfield Highway in St. Ann's Bay.
George Washington Wilson, a 67-year-old of Free Hill in Bambo, St. Ann, died in the single vehicle mishap.
It is reported that about 11:50 a.m., Mr. Wilson was driving westerly near the Key Largo Beach when his vehicle got out of control and overturned, coming to a halt on the soft shoulder.
He was pulled from the vehicle by motorists and assisted to the nearby St. Ann's Bay Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigations continue.
