BOJ intervenes in forex market

The Bank of Jamaica intervened in the foreign exchange market on Wednesday.
The bank sold US$30 million to six banks and four cambios through a flash sale.
The local currency on Tuesday hit a record low against the US dollar which sold for an average $157.07.
