Business leaders are being urged to take decisive actions to strengthen their cybersecurity systems.
The call comes from Derek Manky, chief cyber strategist and vice president of global threat intelligence at Fortiguard Labs.
Mr. Manky points out that artificial intelligence is a double-edged sword because while it brings immense benefits, it also enables cyber criminals to launch their attacks faster and more effectively than before.
He is also recommending that organisations move more rapidly to
adapt and implement comprehensive strategies to defend themselves against the current wave of AI driven threats.
Mr. Manky also stresses that building a culture of cybersecurity must extend beyond a company's IT department because every employee must understand the role they play in maintaining cybersecurity.
