Caribbean Maritime University has launched its Logistics and Supply Chain Management Training Initiative.
The University says this will be a ground-breaking programme designed to strengthen the country's logistic industry.
This initiative is being developed in conjunction with the Jamaica Special Economic Zone Authority, Tourism Enhancement Fund, Development Bank of Jamaica, and JAMPRO.
CMU President Professor Andrew Spencer, speaking at the launch of the event, said the initiative will equip local logistics providers with the essential skills needed to enhance efficiency, competitiveness and global market readiness.
