Canadian High Commissioner to Jamaica, Emina Tudakovic has called for custom brokers to be vigilant against trafficking and smuggling of goods into the island as well as to embrace modern business processes and practices.
She made the remarks at the 57th Annual General Meeting of the Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Association of Jamaica held at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel yesterday.
Ms Tudakovic charged that her country is keen for continued growth and development of business relations to strengthen the long-standing bilateral trade relationship between Jamaica and Canada.
